A new application from Nokia should become available for download on devices running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform in the near future, namely Nokia Reading.

The software is expected to land in the Windows Phone Marketplace as Nokia’s e-book store, and will be available for free.

In addition to these e-book-reading capabilities, the app will also arrive with RSS capabilities, and will allow users to pin publications to the phone’s home screen.

Rumor has it that Nokia plans on delivering it to the market in Russia initially, with UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain set to receive it shortly after.

Apparently, Nokia will preload the app on its Nokia Lumia 900 devices, though it will make it available with all of its Lumia 610, 710 and 800 handsets. Details on the software’s release should arrive soon, so keep an eye on this space for more on it.
