In the last time, the Finish producer has been looking for a new look for its phones, the design being one of the most recent criterion the customer guides on.

The proof that Nokia is revising its conceptions related to terminals' look is the change of news content about the two phone models. Usually, the company outlined the phones' technical specifications and multimedia functions, but now, the company is stating that it's very pleased with the look of the phone.

It's
true that in their stainless steel case the phones look excellent, but perhaps users are also interested in the performances of these models, not only if the terminal matches or not with their clothes.

Nokia is emphasizing the phones' multimedia qualities and the contribution of the composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, rewarded several times at international contests, who is the author of several ring and alarm tones for the 8800 and 8801 models.

Because the look and the wonderful joining of the steel closing mechanisms can be noticed without too much difficulty, the inside and the functions of the phone are more appealing to us: the display has a resolution of 208 x 208 pixels and 262,000 colors, which will be put to good use by the phone's 3D engine.

The terminals have a digital camera of only 0.5 megapixels, are fitted with 64 MB of memory and don't offer the possibility of attaching external memory cards. The phones have FM tuner and can be connected via Bluetooth and WAP. The 8801 model will be distributed in the United States starting with Q3, and the 8800 model will be available everywhere else starting with Q2.
