
At CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment convention in Los Angeles, California,
Nokia and Warner Bros. Digital announced their agreement on bringing Warner Bros.
Entertainment branded content, available for download through Nokia's Content Discoverer service, embedded in Nokia S60 and S40 devices all over the world, also including the Nseries (N70, N71, N72, N73, N80 and N93), the Eseries (E50, E60, E61 and E70), the Nokia 5500 and the Nokia 3250 available in China, and the Nokia 6131 devices in China and other Pacific-Asia markets.
After the launch, the Nokia users in the selected European and Asian countries will have the opportunity to find and download images, tones, games and videoclips. The content will be composed of many entertainment brands owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment, like Looney tunes, DC Comics, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, V for Vendetta, Dukes of Hazzard, Batman Begins and Hanna-Barbera.
Brad Brockhaug, Director, Business Development and Channels, Forum Nokia, Nokia's global developer program, said that "this agreement represents a key addition to our Nokia Content Discoverer program, providing Nokia customers with a convenient and familiar place to shop for the world's most popular entertainment content. Nokia Content Discoverer is a part of a content ecosystem designed to improve access to mobile content downloads for millions of subscribers. These consumers now will be able to personalize their mobile devices with their favorite Warner Bros. Content."
Nokia Content Discoverer is a service which allows users' access to downloadable content, through a series of "stores", that are run by content providers, content aggregators and mobile service providers. These mobile shopping stores can be personalized by the operators, with their own content positioning system and brand, and offer a fun experience to the customers with the help of the advanced on-device caching of content catalog metadata provided by the Nokia Content Discoverer service, the automatic content updates, the integrated preview/prelisten facility and the proficient content installation capabilities.

The Nokia Content Discoverer service will have a market share of over 20 million users around the world, by the end of the year.
