Recent reports on devices running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 platform have shown that users are being plagued by various issues, including random reboots and device freezes.

Lumia 920, Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8 handset was said to be affected by these problems, but it seems that Nokia has already acknowledged the issue and that it is investigating it.

“We are working with Microsoft to investigate these reports. We will provide an update as soon as more information is available,” a Nokia spokesperson told The Verge.

Furthermore, following reports regarding similar issues on its Windows Phone 8X handset, HTC also confirmed that it was looking into the matter, and that it is currently researching it at call centers and within its labs.

There’s no telling on how long it will take for a solution to be delivered, but chances are that it won’t be too long, so stay tuned.

I am an HTC Windows 8 Phone owner and currently experiencing issues with accessing contacts. When I attempt to select a contact it kicks me back to the home screen. So in short, I can't access my contacts "people".

I have owned a HTC 8x on Verizon Wireless for 6 weeks now. I have an ongoing issue with the Bluetooth function on the phone not working consistently. In addition, the phone keeps randomly rebooting . I am also getting error messages saying that the sim card is no good and I can't make phone calls until I restart the phone. Verizon wants to send me a refurbished phone but I refused.
