Mobile phone users in Ireland interested in the purchase of the latest Nokia handset running under Android can now pre-order it via Expansys.

The smartphone, dubbed Nokia X2, was made official last month as the second-generation Android handset from the phone maker, packing a variety of hardware and software improvements over the predecessor.

The aforementioned retailer is currently allowing users in Ireland to reserve the mobile phone with dual-SIM capabilities inside. However, the company has not provided specific info on when users will be able to purchase the phone or on its pricing.

However, considering the fact that Microsoft has already announced that the handset will cost around €99 ($135) at launch, we might see it priced similarly in Ireland as well.

Nokia X2 will arrive on shelves in this country with a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 pixels touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot for storage expansion.

On the back, the handset sports a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, capable of recording videos in HD resolution, paired with a VGA front camera for video calling. Nokia X2 runs under Nokia X Platform 2.0, which is based on the AOSP version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
