Nokia's first Android smartphone is expected to go official next week at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 trade fair. Dubbed Nokia X, the budget-friendly smartphone will be released in emerging markets several weeks later, rumors claim.

Although we don't have any confirmation on the smartphone's release date, it appears that Nokia has already started the mass production process for the Android handsets.

WMPoweruser reports that Hungarian blog site Tech2.hu claims that Nokia X entered mass production a few weeks ago. The phone is currently being manufactured at one of the few Europeans manufacturing plants that Nokia still owns, which is located in Komárom, Hungary.

It's unclear whether or not Nokia X is being produced at multiple manufacturing facilities or only the Hungarian plant produces it for the moment.

Anyway, what's important is that Nokia X is a certainty that will be unveiled in less than a week, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
