Nokia X, the first Android-based handset from Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia, is now available for purchase in India at only Rs. 7027 ($116/€84) today, contract-free and with dual-SIM capabilities packed inside.

The new deal is available for users who purchase the device via Flipkart, and it includes the dual-SIM variant of the device.

The smartphone, officially released in the country last month, has seen a price cut on Nokia’s website a few days ago, when the company started listing it at only Rs. 7729 ($128/€92). However, the new price cut should prove even more appealing to enthusiasts.

Only the Black and Red versions of the phone feature the aforementioned price tag Flipkart at the moment, with the White and Green versions available at Rs. 7100 ($118/€85) and Rs. 7250 ($120/€87), respectively. The Cyan color version is listed as out of stock.

Nokia X features a 4-inch screen, a 1GHz dual-core CPU, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. It was launched with a microSD memory card slot too, as well as with a 3MP back camera, and the usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors.

The price cuts that Nokia X has seen this week suggest that Nokia might be getting ready for the release of new devices in the country, most probably the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL Android phones that were unveiled at MWC in February as well.
