Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is reportedly skipping the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next year, only to have more time at its disposal to fully focus on bringing new devices to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

According to a recent article on WPDang, Nokia is gearing up to make a big splash at MWC 2013, yet specific info on what it might unveil hasn’t emerged as of yet.

This year, the company announced three smartphones running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system, and it might unveil some more of them in the first quarter of the next year.

Furthermore, Nokia is expected to announce more low-end handsets powered by Windows Phone 7.8, similar in specs with the new Lumia 510 and Lumia 505 devices. Stay tuned for more info on this.
