Nokia announced today at the GC Developers Conference - the leading conference for game developers in Europe - that SNAP Mobile Games will be available in Germany starting from this year's third quarter. To begin with, the German gamers will be able to enjoy the flagship games from SNAP Mobile's Pocket Party series, including Sudoku and JellyPop, games that are already available for users in North America and Asia Pacific.

High-end Nokia phones commercialized in Germany, like N95, N73 and Nokia 6300, will have SNAP Mobile games pre-installed, giving users the opportunity to try the games for free in order to decide if they want to buy the full versions or not. To buy a game, after trying its demo version and reviewing purchase details, all you have to do is click the "buy" button and wait for a text message that contains the game's full version download link.

Pocket Party JellyPop is a puzzle game based on rapidity, not hard to learn but difficult to master; the game features a unique multiplayer mode. Pocket Party Sudoku is a game that generates challenging puzzles on the fly, meaning that gamers will have a different puzzle every time. Both the above mentioned games benefit from the standard connected SNAP Mobile features: single and multiplayer modes, rankings and high scores, integrated chat, friends list or choice of avatars.

Antoine Doumenc, head of SNAP Mobile, said: "After continued success in Asia Pacific, we are clearly setting our sights on the European market. Germany is our first target country and we plan to expand our service availability in multiple European distribution channels within the year. In addition, we will be offering many more opportunities to German consumers to be connected through casual games in near future."

SNAP Mobile is Nokia's industry leading, high quality mobile gaming solution based on Java, supporting a wide range of MIDP2.0-enabled phones. The solution covers, among others, maintenance, hosting and on-line community management. It enables operators to create mobile game communities and offers to 3rd parties connected mobile game publishing and development.
