This new handset from Nokia is a pretty unique phone in comparison to other releases from the Finnish company. Even if details on it are few and scattered, this phone is already getting a lot of attention, not so much because of its features, but mostly due to the design that kind of looks like that of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip.

Codenamed Wahoo, because the name under which it will be released is not available for the time being, it is a Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone, with dual band HSDPA support, 80MB internal memory and microSD card slot. It records using a 2.0 Megapixel flash camera and v2.0 with A2DP Bluetooth. It also comes with two displays, an internal 2.2-inch QVGA TFT 16M color display, and an external 1.36-inch TFT 256K one.

It may look pretty slim in pictures, but it actually measures 102 x 52 x 17mm, weighing in at 115g. Furthermore, it cannot really pride itself on the included 2.5mm jack. This phone is generating so much buzz, aside from the design part that we will discuss up next, because of its half QWERTY keypad and the built-in GPS system.

As regards the flip clamshell shape of the Wahoo, one can’t have but words of appreciation for it, given it doesn't really look like the models that Nokia has accustomed us with so far. Nevertheless, this is something that we could call an improvement in relation to this particular case. It's definitely a nice change and, undoubtedly, clients will appreciate this aspect more than they did before, even if the device in itself can be considered a not too impressive mobile given the technological features it comes with.

It is believed, almost with certainty, that this phone will be going to AT&T, but more information is not available as of yet. Despite the fact that pricing or availability details have not been made public so far, if this will really be released, you probably won't have too wait long for them to come out.
