Nokia lost most of its executives in the past year and veterans that have been part of the Finnish handset maker for more than 10 years continue to leave the company.

The last to leave Nokia is vice-president of product marketing Ilari Nurmi, who announced through his own channels that he has just resigned.

However, Nurmi did not offer any details on the reasons behind its decision, instead he left the following message on Twitter: “I have left Nokia. I am thankful for almost 15y there. I wish Nokia all the best and look forward to getting Lumia 920 once available.”

It’s unusual for Nokia to allow the person who was in charge of its smartphone strategy resign with only a few weeks until the new Windows Phone 8 devices hit shelves. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
