Nokia’s Lumia 920 smartphone has been available in the UK for quite some time now, yet it seems that not all of its capabilities were enabled right from the start.

According to the latest reports on the matter, the handset vendor has started to push out a new software update for the smartphone, so as to enable more of its capabilities.

To be more precise, Nokia Lumia 920 devices on Vodafone UK’s network are said to be currently receiving a software update that enables the dormant LTE connectivity on them.

The wireless carrier announced late last month the rollout of its 4G network in the country, and Lumia 920 appears to be one of the first devices to provide users with support for it.

Chances are that other smartphones in Nokia’s lineup will receive a similar treatment, as WMPoweruser notes.
