Nokia Beta Labs announced on Friday a major update for the Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 Beta. Among the goodies that have been included within the new software version we can count localizations for 29 different languages, as well as a wide range of fixes for crash bugs. Given the fact that most of the fixes are based on what testers have reported, those who download and install the new version should also provide feedback on what they find, so that more issues are solved.

The list of bug fixes and improvements that have been included in the new software version shows: - Music tracks can now be removed from Nokia Ovi Suite without them being deleted from the file system. - Music sync related fixes. When syncing all music to device, the tracks which already exist in device are automatically ignored. This improves performance. - Manual copying photos from a device to Nokia Ovi Suite works now. - Many syncing-related bug fixes. - Map deletion-related crash fixed. - Improvements in contact editing and saving. - We added links to Nokia Betalabs Nokia Ovi Suite page and discussion forum into Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 home view, so you can conveniently go reporting your issues into Nokia Betalabs.

Those who already had the first Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 Beta version installed will be automatically informed on the availability of the new update. As many of you might already know, the Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 is aimed at becoming the only PC software solution Nokia users would need. According to the developing team, it should replace the Nokia PC Suite, as well as the Nokia Ovi Suite 1.x and Nokia Nseries PC Suite, while coming towards users with a series of features from Nokia Photos, Nokia Software updater and Nokia Map loader. Just remember to provide feedback in case you install it.
