Should announce a new Ovi Store version soon

Espoo, Finland-based mobile phone maker Nokia is already known to plan unveiling a new version of its Ovi Store, the software solutions portal where Nokia users can find a great deal of content for their Symbian phones, and which has been recently opened for Maemo applications too. The company is expected to unveil the new version of Ovi Store as soon as today, at a media event announced at the beginning of the week.

However, nothing has been officially unveiledso far, yet we can expect for Nokia to announce that its application store is set to provide a new user experience to all owners of a Nokia device out there. To make things even more interesting, the company has just unveiled what the World of Ovi Store is all about via a quite interesting new video available at the bottom of this article for your viewing pleasure.

“We want to get people excited about all the amazing things they can do with their Nokia by using the great content available through Ovi Store,” Nokia Senior Marketing Manager, John Bartleson, commented. For what it's worth, the new video can indeed make people want to learn more about the software solutions portal, and a quick look at it will show you that.

The new video was directed by Hiro Murai, “a music video director who has worked with The Fray and Bloc Party and produced by Partizan, Michel Gondry’s award winning production company,” a recent post on Nokia Conversations notes. What users can see in the video is a quick demonstration of some compelling applications available via the portal, including Facebook, Gravity, and Qik. It is an animated video, capable of showing that the world of Ovi Store is indeed wonderful.
