Apparently, mobile phone maker Nokia is set to launch a new series of handsets in the not too far future, adding a new letter to the already popular C, E, N, or X families of devices, namely T, some of the latest rumors around the web suggest.

While specific info on what this new line of nomenclature at Nokia would be all about did not emerge for the time being, one handset that would be included in the new family made an appearance on the Internet.

We're referring here to the Nokia T7-00, which has just leaked into the wild courtesy of the OVI Publisher tools.

In all fairness, no exact info on this smartphone emerged at the moment either, though it seems that it might actually run under the Symbian^3 operating system.

Considering the fact that Nokia's latest mid to high-end devices were powered by this platform, it does not come as a surprise that newer such smartphones are under development, especially since the company promised them, although it is moving towards Windows Phone 7.

Another similarity this phone would share with other Symbian^3 devices from Nokia would be the screen resolution, which is of 360 x 640 pixels.

For thos out of the loop, we shoudl note that the Nokia C7 and Nokia N8 feature the same resolution, while the Nokia E7 sports a 640 x 360 pixel resolution.

Of course, we should wait for some more info on this device to surface before stating for sure what it would actually turn out to be but, in the meantime, we can put it beside two other rumored, yet unconfirmed devices from Nokia, namely the E6-00 and the X7.

In addition to Nokia T7, the OVI Publisher tools displayed the E6-00 too, a smartphone that should pack a 640 x 480 resolution screen when made available for purchase, it seems.

Previously, the Nokia E6-00 was rumored to be a candybar phone with both a touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard packed in an E71-like design, but nothing was confirmed on this as of yet.
