Brings along a wide range of integration with the latest backend release

Nokia has just delivered an updated Store QML Client for the owners of devices running under the Symbian mobile operating system.

The new Nokia Store QML Client 3.18.036 arrives on devices following a series of upgrades performed to the Nokia Store backend.

According to the mobile phone maker, the new release of the mobile client is meant to offer full compatibility with the backend release.

At the same time, the new application release arrives with new features into the mix, as well as with some fixes for issues that were found in the previous releases.

The changelog for the new application flavor includes:

- The Nokia Store backend has been updated on November 3, 2011 and the latest release of the client is fully integrated with the backend release.

- Fixed: ‘Debug’ option in the client has been removed. This was meant for the R&D team. Sorry for the confusion

- Solved: Purchase option for Symbian Belle users

- Theme Pack (Gift Package) feature is available for Nokia C7 users

- This feature will offer a collection of premium applications at no costs to the selected users for a period of time, e.g. 30 days

- In the Store application, the users will see the Theme Pack banner on the home view. Upon clicking on the banner, they will be linked to the Theme Pack collection The Store QML client is expected to turn into a final release in the near future, and is meant to replace the existing client on Nokia's Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna devices.

The new mobile application was designed with the same features and capabilities as the official Store client (Web Runtime), the team over at Nokia Beta Labs notes.

The new Store QML client is expected to provide users with easier navigation, as well as with a series of improvements that affect the product details view, all meant to result in a much better experience.
