Nokia unleashed its first Android tablet in China with a pretty affordable price tag of $257 / €216. The device is quite a capable machine sporting decent specifications.

The N1 comes with a 7.9-inch display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and 324 ppi. The power source of the device is a 64-bit quad-core 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor fitted with 2GB of RAM.

N1 is outfitted with an 8MP rear camera (without LED flash) on the back and a 5MP-selfie centric one up in front.

It takes advantage of Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Nokia Z launch onboard.

Given the tablet’s potential and pretty decent price tag, it shouldn't come as a surprise when we tell you that the Finnish company has managed to sell 20,000 units of the N1 in just 4 minutes after the pre-orders have opened (as seen at Blog Jack Phone).

On January 15, Nokia is scheduled to start rolling out the second batch of N1 tablets, so it will be interesting to see whether the slate sells out as quickly as the first time around.

As for other territories, the Nokia N1 tablet is expected to arrive in Europe in February and we’re very curious to see for what price it hits retail locations.

Are you considering getting one yourself?
