Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 Lumia handsets appear to be selling very well in some markets, and China might be the leading one, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

According to a report coming from WinP.cn, the company has managed to sell no less than 2 million Lumia 920T units at China Mobile between December 5 and March 5.

However, it seems that this might not have been the case, as a source with Nokia China has already denied these details.

The story was based on photos coming from an internal celebration at Nokia in the country, which can be seen above, an which shows a "2M" live tile on a cake.

“We had an internal celebration some time back. [...]These pictures are genuine, however the '2M' live tile doesn't stand for '2 million.' I can't tell you what it stands for however," said source told WPCentral.
