An updated version of the HERE Maps application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices out there, namely version 3.5.487.8.

The new application release comes to devices mainly with bug fixes, aimed at providing all of its users with a better experience while on the go.

Moreover, HERE Maps also allows users to organize favorites into groups and have them synced between their phone and here.com. Through this, they can ensure that favorites are at their fingertips at all times.

Nokia’s HERE Maps services allows users to enjoy seamless navigation capabilities all around the world, while also providing them with offline maps in 95 countries.

“With fast, offline maps in 95 countries, you can find your way even without a data connection. With new collections, you can now group, save and sync your favorites with here.com,” Nokia notes in the application’s description.

Furthermore, HERE Maps can take advantage of LiveSight, which means that users will be able to learn more about places around them through pointing the camera viewfinder at them. Public transport navigation is also available in the mobile app.

You can download HERE Maps for Windows Phone 8 from Softpedia today. Keep in mind that LiveSight will work only on devices with a compass packed inside.
