With various stability and performance improvements, updated applications

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has started delivering a new software update to the owners of Nokia Asha 311 (RM-714) smartphones, namely version 7.36.

The new firmware release is already available for download in some markets as an over the air update, and should arrive in more of them shortly. It will be released through Nokia Suite as well, the company announced.

Compared to the previously available software 5.92 for the smartphone, the new firmware packs enhancements to the phone software stability and video streaming, as well as various performance and usability improvements.

Furthermore, the software comes with Mail For Exchange and Whatsapp launchers, as well as with updated Nokia Xpress Browser, News and Offers and Notifications applications.

Nokia also encourages users to download eBuddy and new versions of Twitter and Facebook apps for their devices.
