Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is gearing up for the launch of its new Luymia 520 smartphone on the market around the world, and is also getting the device ready for landing in the United States, it seems.

The handset
has been spotted at the FCC with model number RM-914 attached to it, and with support for HSPA+ packed inside.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Nokia unveiled the new Lumia 520 on Monday at MWC, with a 4-inch 800 x 480 IPS display on the front and with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system loaded on top.

The handset also packs a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor inside, 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1430mAh battery.

In the United States, the smartphone is expected to land on shelves at T-Mobile, which has already confirmed it as Lumia 521.
