A certain Nokia RM-860 smartphone has been spotted at the Federal Communication Commission these past days, with support for Verizon’s network, supposedly one of the upcoming Windows Phone 8 handsets for this carrier.
, which emerged only a few days ago in an ad company’s database
, will hit shelves with support for LTE bands 4 and 13, Engadget reports
, but no other details on it are available for the time being.
However, this is not the first time we learn that Nokia and Verizon might be preparing a Lumia smartphone for launch in the United States, and the RM-860 might be just it.
Previous rumors suggested that the new Verizon-bound Nokia Lumia
handset should be a Lumia 920 variant with enhanced hardware and functionality, yet it remains to be seen whether this will pan out indeed.
