A new Nokia application is now available straight from the Nokia Beta Labs, namely Nokia Pulse, a mobile software aimed at bringing conversations to life through automatically tagging photos and updates with user's location.

The new mobile application was made available for download both for the owners of Nokia Symbian devices, as well as for those who enjoy the advantages of a Windows Phone.

One of the main features of the new application is its integration with Nokia maps, which will also result in easy finding of new places or of people living nearby.

“Every conversation, from pickups and drop-offs to meet-ups, is as instant, private, and simple as sending a text, but far more useful and engaging,” a recent post on Nokia Beta Labs reads.

“Nokia Pulse is integrated with Maps, so finding people nearby, discovering new places, and getting directions is a snap.”

The new Nokia Pulse applications offers features such as Group Conversations, Live Places, or Your People, all of which can be seen detailed in the video embedded at the bottom of this article.

Users can easily keep their conversations private with the new application, and are also offered the possibility to set the app to automatically tag the location to all new photo updates.

The app comes with simple privacy settings, so that users can easily set it up according to their preferences.

Nokia Pulse will also bring favorite places to life by enabling the posting of favorite places in conversations, while allowing users to discover what's near them fast and easily, not to mention that it will offer directions directly from the recommended place.

But this is not all, as the app will also keep users close to the people important to them: Your Family. Your People. You Decide. - Instant: Receive instant on-device notifications of all new updates - Open: Everyone with an email address can participate - Easy: Sending and receiving messages with Nokia Pulse is as easy as SMS - Powered by the cloud: Your conversations are saved in the cloud for as long as you need them - Accessible from anywhere: Nokia Pulse is available on multiple touch-points - desktop web, mobile web, Windows Phone, and Symbian devices

You can find the new Nokia Pulse app available for download from Softpedia as well, here for Symbian and here for Windows Phone.
