A new flavor of the Nokia Play To application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone 8-based Lumia smartphones, namely Nokia Play To 3.0 beta.

The new application release was designed to offer support for the Nokia Lumia 1520, as well as for the Nokia Lumia 1320.

Furthermore, Nokia notes that the software is set to become available on other devices as well, as soon as the Lumia Black software update is made available to them.

For those out of the loop, we should mention that Nokia and Microsoft are expected to release the update sometime in early 2014.

The new Nokia Play To 3.0 beta also brings along two new features when compared to the earlier version 2 of the application.

The most important of them is added support for all screen resolutions of Windows Phone 8 devices, while the other one is the inclusion of slideshow for images.

Nokia Lumia 1520 users who would like to download and install the application should keep in mind that this is only a beta release, and that it might still include a series of issues that will affect their experience.

The new flavor of the application comes from the Nokia Beta Labs, and the team of developers behind it encourages users to offer feedback on it.

“If you're among the first to get your hands on the Nokia Lumia 1520 and are willing to help out, we would like to hear your feedback, especially about which devices you can share media to and with what devices you have issues with sharing content,” a blog post from the developers reads.
