Dell will start selling from now on Nokia mobile phones too. It seems as profits coming from the sales of such devices are appealing even for companies that would normally have nothing to do with Nokia.

All handsets that will be available for purchase from Dell stores will be unlocked and ready for use with any SIM cards. Most of them are high-end mobile phones, but still some of the most appreciated models at this time.

Dell will be selling Nokia N80, E61, E61i and N95 phone models, all for a quite high price. This is not all that surprising, especially when considering the fact that they are not locked for one exclusive network use, but offer their user a higher degree of liberty when choosing their operator.

These devices, which will be available at Dell from now on, have already been sold at AT&T and T-Mobile. These are the largest GSM carriers in US. Moreover, these Nokia handsets that will be available from now on in Dell stores are among the most evolved smartphones coming from the Finnish company and have been sold in a large number of units until now.

Dell's decision of selling these unlocked Nokia handsets has been considered by some as the destruction of monopoly that operators have set on the distribution of mobile devices. It is true, indeed, that since Nokia phones have started to be available without having to bond to a specific operator, there will be a considerably greater amount of freedom for subscribers.

The average prices for these Nokia smartphones are a bit high, but this comes only as a result of their high performances. Nokia N80 will come for USD 447, Nokia E61 for USD 338, Nokia E61i for USD423, while the popular Nokia N95 will be available at the cost of USD 736.
