14 DAY TRIAL // Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia seems set to make all of its mobile phone users out there happy, and now it made another step in this direction with the release of a final version of Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1, which has been available as a beta release for the past few months. The new Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.0.87 is now available for download with a nice range of improvements when compared to previous versions, both beta and stable ones.
Here's what the Nokia Beta Labs notes on a recent post: “we started yesterday deployment of Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.0.87 as web update for existing Nokia Ovi Suite users - our recommendation is, that when you see update notification in Nokia Ovi Suite about this new release, you go ahead and proceed to update into latest version, it contains many new improvements, bug fixes and features.” It seems that the distribution of Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.0.87 kicked off from the Nokia Ovi Suite web page since last week, and some of you might be already enjoying the new version.
Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1 comes with some nice features for users, including ovi.com contacts sync, as well as video transfer and playback, not to mention device application updates. The release notes also include the following: * Video support - transfer, play and share your videos * Get new device applications (Independent Application Delivery, IAD) - keep your device applications up-to-date * Windows 7 support - extended support for new operating system versions * Download Ovi Share library - get a copy of your Ovi Share content to your computer * Contacts sync with Mozilla Thunderbird - support for new, popular desktop PIM applications * Error fixes and performance improvements * New languages (Hindi, American English and Ukrainian)
