The phone maker announced its partnership with YouTube

World's biggest mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia has announced six new phone models at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.

Among the new models, Nokia released the 3110, a candybar phone that will retail for 150 Euro, before subsidies and taxes and the N77, a DVB-H-enabled mid-range multimedia phone.

Aside from the mobile phones, the Finish manufacturer has also announced a new mobile Internet video experience that enables users to enjoy video content through YouTube.

The video content will be available with the Nokia Web Browser with Mini Map through the new YouTube mobile site that will be launched shortly.

Also, the new Nokia Video Center that offers a comprehensive and user friendly mobile video RSS feed and video on demand experience, combining branded video RSS services, Internet videos and sideloaded videos from the PC, will allow users to discover, view and store favorite content on their Nokia Nseries multimedia computers.

"We are extremely excited to be able to announce YouTube as one of our first global partners in bringing internet videos easily to our Nokia Nseries owners," said Harri M?nnist?, Director, Multimedia, Nokia. "The addition of the enhanced internet video experience is a logical continuation of the wide range of internet experiences available on Nokia Nseries multimedia computers covering already for example photo and video uploading and sharing, music discovery as well as search and navigation."

Nokia Video Center will be available worldwide on the same markets were Nokia's Nseries handsets are being sold. At first, it will come pre-installed on the N95 after which it will come with most of Nokia's new Nseries mobile phones. It will also be available for download, for selected compatible S60 devices.
