The device comes to the country on the airwaves of wireless carrier Vodafone, and seems to be on a mission to fulfill the needs of any mobile Internet enthusiast in the country. The feature list of the Nokia N97 shows a touchscreen 3.5-inch display, a side-sliding QWERTY keypad, 32GB of on-board memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space, A-GPS, compass, 10 international widgets and 5 local widgets, as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper that sports Carl Zeiss optics and video recording capabilities. In addition, the device also includes HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The price of the handset has been set at Rs.36,119, and users can purchase it through an easy EMI payment system (a 3-month EMI option at 0% interest rate). At the same time, Vodafone also offers the Nokia N97 with a free data plan for three months.
