Nokia N900, the latest device the Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia delivered to the market with the Maemo operating system on board, is set to make an appearance on Vodafone UK's airwaves as soon as January arrives. The handset can be already spotted on the wireless carrier's website, with the “coming soon” tag all over it. Unfortunately, no details on the pricing have been unveiled.

The Nokia N900 is built to handle our superfast mobile Internet speeds - right up to 7.2Mbps. But that's not the whole story. It also packs a seriously fast processor. From the moment you turn it on, you'll feel the speed. So you can have lots of applications open at once - like listening to music and using the internet - without slowing down,” is what the carrier states.

Indeed, the Nokia N900 comes to the market with great Internet connectivity options, offering users the possibility to easily enjoy web browsing, file downloads, access to social networking websites, and more. At the same time, it also comes with 32GB of internal memory to store a lot of music, videos, photos and more, as well as with a large touchscreen display, able to make users very happy.

There are other features too there, meant to offer an even more enhanced experience to users, including the full side-slide QWERTY keyboard, 3D accelerated graphics that look amazing on the 3.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen, as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper that sports Carl Zeiss optic lens. GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile TV, PC sync and other more features complete the list.

The Nokia N900 was unveiled officially a few months ago, and Nokia promised at a certain moment that it would hit the stores before the end of October, but it was only in November when users actually had the chance to enjoy the handset's capabilities. Since the device is already available for purchase, Vodafone is not the only UK carrier to have it, but the same applies to O2 and Orange as well.
