Nokia’s one and only MeeGo smartphone, the N9 will soon receive another software update that is supposed to bring some of the missed features that could not be added in the previous PR1.1 update.

The first screenshots with PR1.2 were revealed last year, but those were taken on the N950, the MeeGo device aimed at developers.

However, a Talk Maemo forum user seems to have gotten an N9 unit from a friend who works at Nokia and was able to update it to PR1.2. He also made several screenshots with the update’s change log and some of the new features that it brings.

Unfortunately, this seems to be an alpha version of PR1.2 and not the final build which might take a few months to be pushed.

Among the new features that will be added with PR1.2, there’s video calling, copy/paste in browser, application folders, as well as camera improvements.
