Officially unveiled last month in Singapore, Nokia N9 is finally making its debut across three major carriers in the country.

Customers who want to grab the first and, sadly, the last MeeGo smartphone manufactured by Nokia, can order the 16GB model for $799 (about 583 EUR) or the 64GB version, which is priced at $899 (about 655 EUR).

The bad news is that the phone is valued higher than the initial suggested retail price of $660 (480 EUR) for the 16GB model, respectively $745 (643 EUR) for the 64GB.

Nokia N9 is now available in Singapore in three colors from three major carriers: Singtel, Starhub and M1.

It is also worth mentioning that the N9 comes pre-loaded with street maps and free navigation for over 90 countries worldwide.

In addition, the smartphone is one of the first to be delivered with Dolby Digital Plus decoding and Dolby Headphone post-processing technology.

Nokia's one of the best designed smartphone, the N9 offers users the perfect mix between style and minimalist design.

Software-wise, the N9 is powered by MeeGo 1.2 operating system, which will be supported by the Finnish handset manufacturer with updates and apps, at least until 2015.

The phone comes with a stunning 3.9-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 854 pixels resolution, which is protected by Gorilla glass display.

Beside the amount of storage, Nokia N9 packs 1 GB or RAM, but lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Furthermore, the N9 is equipped with a 1GHz TI OMAP 3630, a PowerVR SGX530 graphics processing unit and a superior 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual LED flash and HD (720p) video recording capabilities.

Stay tuned, as Softpedia team will start series of articles next week that will present some of the features of N9.
