Nokia N9 recently received a major software update that bring lots of new features and improvements that enhance the overall performance of the MeeGo-based smartphone.

Following the release of the PR1.2 software update, two new apps for the N9 have been released and are now available for download via Nokia Store.

Firstly, a new version of Firefox mobile browser has been released, which improves users’ browsing experience. According to Nokia, the new application renders webpages much closer to what is displayed on a full-size desktop computer.

The new version of Firefox for N9 supports multiple tabs and synchronization with the user’s Firefox account, including passwords and bookmarks.

In addition, the browser comes with a Flash Player add-on installed, which further enhances users’ browsing experience. With this add-on, N9 owners will be able to see in-page videos or play game directly on their sites.
