Apparently, a great mobile phone does not need long video ads to impress, and this is exactly what Nokia tries to say with the delivery of a series of short videos to present the new Nokia N9 smartphone.

And if you're asking how short these clips are, the answer is simple: nine seconds each, enough to say that the handset is what all users need on a day by day basis.

The new Nokia N9 smartphone was unveiled to the world only a few weeks ago with the MeeGo operating system on board, and is expected to arrive on the market in the near future, bringing along the first all-touch design a smartphone can offer.

In the six videos embedded below, you would will be able to make an idea of some of the main features the new device can offer, including Swype, browsing, social media, maps, or the camera, as well as the “all-screen design” that Nokia packed it with.

The handset is called N9 and, obviously, 9 seconds videos do seem like a great idea for a marketing campaign for it.

Not to mention that longer clips might have seemed slow, at least this is what a recent post on Nokia Conversations reads.

The Nokia N9 is fast. So fast that a regular 30-second TV advertising slot was deemed far too slow-moving,” the said blog post states.

“How about, say, nine seconds instead? The creative folk took that brief to create a great series of ads, each of which lasts nine seconds and illustrates a key feature of the phone – rather briefly.”

Although a niche handset, the Nokia N9 does seem to be capable of offering all that users would want their devices to include.

The videos below will certainly make you at least imagine how it would be like owning one of these beauties, if not make you want to purchase one.
