It seems that mobile phone users in the US will soon have yet another high-end Nokia mobile phone to go for, namely the Nokia N86 8MP. Sporting an 8-megapixel photo snapper and a wide range of functionalities connected to it, the device might become available in the country starting with August 22, The Nokia Blog reports.

As many of you might already know, the handset is already available for pre-order, and it should come to the shelves in the US all dressed up in black in less than two weeks from now. The best part is that the price it is expected to feature is $499, $59 less than the pre-order cost. Moreover, it might also be sold via other retailers for an even lower price, namely $470.

Along with the N86, mobile phone users in the US might also have the chance to soon enjoy another handset from the Finnish maker. According to Engadget, a Nokia RX-51 device has just received FCC approval, and it is on its way towards T-Mobile USA's lineup, as the filing on the FCC site shows AWS 3G connectivity options.

In addition, the handset is also expected to turn into an Internet Tablet when launched on the market, which might be in line with the previously rumored “Rover” device, said to run under the Maemo 5 platform. Reports seem to point exactly in this direction, and the Nokia RX-51 might prove to be something totally different from the latest handsets the company brought to the US market.

Although the FCC approval that many mobile phones receive does not show that they will actually come to the market, odds are that this Nokia Internet Tablet will prove real, and that T-Mobile will announce its availability in the near future. Hopefully, more details on it will soon become available, so stay tuned to learn more on it.
