Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia came to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week with a series of brand new handsets, among which we could spot the Nokia N86 8MP, a nice device heading our way with a great 8-megapixel camera. The phone looks good enough to impress any photography enthusiast, but it seems that we have to wait a little more for the handset to become available for purchase.

And if you're wondering how much it will take until the new Nokia N86 8MP hits the shelves, the answer is simple: about half a year. To be more precise, the new 8-megapixel cameraphone is expected to become available for users to buy it around the date of 22nd of July, at least this is the launch date in the UK, according to Expansys, which already lists the device.

As many of you might already know, Nokia announced officially that the new mobile phone would become available in the second quarter of the ongoing year. That would mean that only the UK users will receive the smartphone a little bit later, while other markets will see it a few months earlier. On the other hand, UK users who would like to get their hands on the handset as soon at it becomes available can already pre-order it on Expansys.

As for the price the new Nokia N86 8MP is listed with, that is a whopping €664.99, or around $850. A little bit too much some might say, given the fact that this price tag is almost twice the €375 price Nokia announced that the handset would feature. Undoubtedly, the fact that this is the first 8-megapixel cameraphone the giant manufacturer has unveiled might appeal to a lot of users, but whether or not most of them would be willing to spend so much money on the device is still questionable.
