The first Symbian^3 device Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is set to deliver to the market in during the ongoing year, namely the Nokia N8, has just emerged as available for pre-order on Nokia UK's website, where it goes for free on contract agreements with various carriers in the country.

We already knew that the Nokia N8 is expected to arrive in the UK on Vodafone's airwaves, but this is the first time we learn it would be available with other carriers too.

Along with making the device available for pre-order on its website, Nokia also unveiled specific details on its pricing, including the fact that users would be able to get it free of contract for £429.00.

In case one would like to purchase the new device with a contract agreement, the price tag is £0 on a £35.00 per month plan, with carrier options that include Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile.

Unfortunately, Nokia does not say specifically when the new device would hit the shelves, and the only reference to its availability that one can find there is “end of September.”

All in all, it seems that the previous rumors regarding the near launch of this high-end smartphone are about to prove true, as Nokia is moving closer to putting the device on users' hands.

In case there are some who haven't heard of Nokia N8 as of yet, though we doubt that, we should note that it would be the first Nokia phone with a 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities.

The features list of this handset also includes:

- Three customizable home screens for your favorite widgets - HDMI connection for high-definition 720p resolution video output - Dolby Digital Plus technology for great sound - Free voice-guided navigation - Up to 50 hours of music playback - Download apps, games and videos from the Ovi Store - Unified email client for multiple protocols: Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live, Hotmail and other popular POP/IMAP services, Mail for Exchange, IBM Lotus traveler - Fully integrated social networking features - Unlocked phone, use on any network

The handset should come to the market in various color versions, including an Orange limited edition, or a blue flavor available in late October, not to mention the green model that goes exclusively to Vodafone's customers.
