Nokia N8, the latest flagship smartphone from Finnish handset vendor Nokia, is on its way to Canada too, after making an appearance on other markets around the world, and should be released on Rogers' airwaves pretty soon.

It appears that the first Nokia N8 units are already arriving in stores at Rogers, which means that the official release should follow shortly.

According to a recent article on MobileSyrup, various Rogers stores around the country started to receive Nokia N8 shipments.

Moreover, the news site brought to the Internet the complete list of price options Rogers plans on making available for those interested in the new handset.

According to them, the new smartphone should be made available for purchase for as low as $79.99 upon the signing of a three-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

The phone would cost $349.99 if purchased with a two-year contract agreement, and was priced at $399.99 with one year commitments.

Those who would like to have the high-end Symbian device without choosing a contract option will find it available for $449.99.

The new Nokia N8 comes to the market with a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display that boasts a 640 x 360 pixel resolution.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a 12-megapixel photo snapper with Carl Zeiss lens, Xenon flash, auto focus and 720p video recording capabilities.

At the same time, we should note that the smartphone sports a 680MHz application processor, complemented by 16GB of internal storage.

Of course, there is also a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The handset also comes with a 3.5 mm headset jack, as well as with support for 3G networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, and more.

The Nokia N8 was the first Symbian^3 device that `Nokia launched on the market during the ongoing year, followed by Nokia C7 and C6-01.
