One of Nokia's latest additions to the Nseries phone family, the Nokia N76, has just cleared the FCC. The slim and rather RAZR-like multimedia computer has a little bit of everything for everyone to offer.

It is a quad-band GSM device with UMTS capabilities, comes in a clamshell form factor with music dedicated control keys on the front side. Features include a 2 megapixel camera with 20x digital zoom, flash and QVGA video recording capabilities, a secondary CIF camera for video calling, 2.4 inch 16 million color screen with QVGA resolution, and Bluetooth for connectivity.

The N76 will come with a music player with support for most file formats including MP3, AAC, eAAC+,M4A, WMA and a Micro SD card slot for memory expansion that allows the use of up to 2GB cards ensuring that the user will always have enough storage space for music or photos.

With support for the standard 3.5 mm headphones, there will be no restriction to what headphones one can use. For so many features crammed in, the N76 isn't very bulky, measuring 106 x 52 x 13.7 mm and weighing 115 grams.

Nokia is constantly trying to improve their Nseries phones and add up better models once in a while, and it looks like the N76 isn't really going to disappoint, bringing a pretty nice combination of slimness, rather good looks and advanced features. It runs on S60 3rd edition Symbian OS just like all its multimedia computer brothers.

Now that the N76 has been FCC approved there's nothing left that can keep it from shipping to stores, so expect this one to show up very soon for an estimated, pre-tax, unsubsidized price of approximately 390 euros.
