The Nokia phone that all Cingular users have been waiting for impatiently, the N75, has been approved by the Federal Communications Commission, this being the sign we needed to have about this multimedia all-in-one handset to know for sure that it will finally hit the stores
(most probably this will happen before this year's holidays, just in time to bring Cingular a big load of money from its sales).

N75, the smallest Nokia N-series multimedia phone released until now, is also one the best equipped, having a digital music player that can play almost any type of audio file ever imagined by the human mind, offering an equalizer, shuffle and repeat features, playlist capabilities, external multimedia access keys plus an external display that can offer you all the information you need on the currently playing media file.

Worrying about the storage space for all your favorite songs? No need to because the phone has a microSD memory expansion card slot that can go up to 2 GB on which you can store around 1500 songs. In case you think this just ain't enough for your musical needs, you can also check out any radio with the help of the FM stereo receiver, a very good friend of the 3D stereo speakers mounted on board this multimedia wonder. Together with all these media goodies, the phone offers a 2 megapixel CMOS camera with 16x digital zoom and a high tech LED flash system in case you want to take snapshots in places that don't provide enough lighting.

Regarding the connectivity part, this is a phone that has it all being a quad-band 3G WCDMA, EDGE and GSM device that works on 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz networks, with Mass Storage Pop-Port interface through USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology and EGPRS data transfer speeds of up to 177.6 kbits/s.

There is no information about the release date or the store price that will be tagged on this mobile device, but already being approved by the FCC, you might think of it as being on the fast lane to a very imminent future launch.
