Microsoft has just updated ex-Nokia’s MixRadio application that’s included in most Lumia smartphones with new features and improvements.

The new version offers a lot more users the possibility to manually search for mixes. In addition, the developers have mentioned that they have added a new feature that automatically refreshes offline mixes.

According to Microsoft, the automatic refresh of offline mixes happens after 20 days when Nokia MixRadio is open and connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Furthermore, users will be happy to know that the latest version of Nokia MixRadio can recommend mixes based on their unique music profile.

Last but not least, lots of bug fixes and performance improvements have been included in the update as well, but no additional details on them have been shared.

Keep in mind that some of the features offered by Nokia MixRadio may not be available in some countries. It’s also worth mentioning that the application detects your location based on your SIM card.

Those who already have the application installed on their devices should check for the update manually, while new users can now download Nokia MixRadio for Windows Phone 4.4.5.428 for free via Windows Phone Store.

The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up, but as we have mentioned earlier, it’s not available in all countries.
