In the coming months, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is expected to bring to the market a nice range of new handsets running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system, and one of them is currently said to be the Nokia Lumia 930.

The phone was mentioned online before, and it appears that the codename that it is known internally has also emerged, namely Nokia Martini.

We did hear this name before, courtesy of a tip coming from @evleaks, the same person to have unveiled now that Nokia Martini and Nokia Lumia 930 would be, in fact, one and the same device.

Of course, this is not an official confirmation on Nokia’s plans on the matter, and we’ll take it with a grain of salt. However, the tipster has a very good track record, and chances that this will pan out at very high.

As WMPoweruser notes, the fact that the yet unannounced handset is expected to be called Lumia 930 suggests right from the start that it will be a high-end smartphone.

All of Nokia’s Lumia 9xx devices have landed on shelves with high-end features, and the new device should not be different, especially since Nokia Lumia 929 was launched at Verizon in the US recently as the company’s latest flagship phone.

In fact, leaked info that emerged online last month suggested that Nokia would indeed include top-of-the-line capabilities inside the upcoming Lumia 930.

Apparently, the device might hit shelves with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, as well as with a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, which should ensure increased performance capabilities.

At the same time, the unannounced smartphone is said to include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. A microSD memory card slot will also be available for expansion purposes.

On the back, Nokia Lumia 930 should pack a 20-megapixel camera, the same as Nokia’s latest flagship handsets, ensuring a great imaging experience.

The phone is reportedly powered by a 2700mAh battery, and might arrive on the market with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.1 operating system loaded on top, although nothing has been said on the matter for the time being.

Should the phone be launched with these specs inside, it might easily prove a smash hit, and Nokia certainly needs one, especially now that Windows Phone has started to pick up some Steam.

However, it remains to be seen whether the price tag attached to the phone will be as appealing as its hardware specifications, since this will make a great difference between it and other flagship (Android) phones out there.
