Nokia Lumia Icon Accessories Emerge Online

Cases and screen protectors will be available for the device

One of the smartphones that mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless should add to its offering in the not too distant future is the Nokia Lumia Icon, which has been rumored for a while now to be launched as the Nokia Lumia 929.

The mobile phone made headlines quite a few times before, and it was even spotted on Verizon’s website, but no official info on when it might become available for purchase has been provided as of now.

However, it appears that it won’t be too long before that happens, as accessories for the yet unannounced handset have also started to emerge online.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to actually buy these as of now, though you can still enjoy a set of leaked photos with them.

Those of you planning to buy the Nokia Lumia Icon when it launches will also be able to grab various cases and accessories to protect it, including Incipio Feather cases, silicone soft cases, and screen protectors.

Moreover, OtterBox Defender cases and Verizon OEM spec black cases will also be available for the owners of the upcoming device, info coming from WPCentral unveils.

While the price tag for these has yet to be officially confirmed, it appears that a set of 3 screen protectors for the device will set you back $12.99 (€9.6) plus tax.

The silicone covers for Nokia Lumia Icon will be available at around $20 (€14.8), while the OtterBox Defender cases might cost around $50 (€37), as PhoneArena notes. However, nothing is certain until an official announcement on this is made.

Nokia Lumia Icon is expected to arrive with a 5-inch 1080p screen, while being powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM.

Moreover, the handset will feature 32GB of internal memory, a 20-megapixel camera on the back, a 1.2MP front camera, and a metal case. Hopefully, it won’t be long before Verizon officially introduces it, so stay tuned.
