Nokia Lumia 930, the high-end Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone that Nokia made official in early April, is currently getting closer to hitting the shelves around the world, and some more info on its arrival in Germany is now available.

According to a recent post on WMPoweruser, the handset has been confirmed to arrive on shelves at wireless carrier O2 in the country, with a price tag of only €519 ($708) attached to it.

Considering the fact that the mobile phone has been already confirmed for most European markets at €599 ($817), the price tag that it will sport at this wireless carrier looks like a great deal.

However, it would not be the first time that high-end smartphones are released in this country at lower costs when compared to other markets in Europe and elsewhere, so it does not come too much as a surprise that Lumia 930 will suffer a similar fate.

The one thing that hasn’t been unveiled as of now, however, is when exactly we should see the smartphone released in Germany.

Microsoft has already confirmed the Lumia 930 for a series of European countries for July 10 or other dates in the first half of the next month, and chance are that it will land on shelves in Germany around the same time too.

The hardware specs of this smartphone should remain the same as those already announced for it, which include a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution.

Moreover, Nokia Lumia 930 comes to the market with a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor inside, as well as with 2GB of RAM, which should ensure high-performance capabilities at all times.

The handset also features 32GB of internal memory, with no microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, but sports all the usual connectivity capabilities inside, such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a built-in GPS receiver.

At the same time, the smartphone comes to the market with a 20-megapixel camera on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, as well as with a front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The main selling point of the new device, however, remains the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, which includes a nice range of enhancements over previous platform iterations, such as Notifications Center, Start Screen backgrounds, transparent Tiles, and the like.

Undoubtedly, Microsoft will start providing more info on the handset’s arrival on shelves soon, so keep an eye on this space to learn more details on the matter.
