Earlier this month, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia made public its first handsets running under the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, in the form of Nokia Lumia 930 and Lumia 630, and both devices are now available for pre-order in Germany.

When unveiling the two handsets, Nokia did not provide specific info on when the two become available for purchase, though it did say that they would be rolling out soon, and it seems that May might be the lucky month for enthusiasts.

Two retailers in Germany have added the two handsets to their offerings, namely Cyberport and MediaMarkt. The former is currently listing the Nokia Lumia 930 on its website, while the latter has added Lumia 630 to its lineup.

According to Cyberport, Lumia 930 is set to become available for purchase on May 15 with a price tag of €599 ($828) attached to it, which could prove quite a lot for many. However, users can also order the phone on monthly contracts, at a subsidized cost.

Lumia 630, on the other hand, can be seen listed at MediaMarkt at only €159 ($275), with dual-SIM capabilities packed inside, and with a release date of May 5.

Although no official confirmation on these availability dates has been provided as of now, NokiaPowerUser notes that they might actually pan out, since both retailers have a good reputation.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Nokia Lumia 930 was made official with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside.

The handset also features 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 20-megapixel camera on the back, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calling.

Lumia 930 is powered by a 2420mAh battery that should be able to deliver up to 15 hours of talk time on 3G networks, or up to 430 hours of standby time.

As for the Nokia Lumia 630, it was launched with a 4.5-inch ClearBlack touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor inside, and 512MB of RAM.

The mobile phone also features 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and a 5-megapixel camera on the back, capable of recording videos at 720p resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.830mAh battery.

Featuring dual-SIM capabilities, the handset is aimed at the entry-level market and is expected to greatly increase the presence of Windows Phone in this segment.
