Nokia Lumia 930 is expected to land in the UK on July 17, but until then Windows Phone fans can pre-order the smartphone from various major retailers in the country.

The first to open pre-orders for Lumia 930 is Carphone Warehouse, which is offering the handset for free on select plans starting at £30.5 (€38.5 / $52). As we already reported yesterday, Carphone Warehouse will start shipping the smartphone on July 17, but only if nothing wrong happens.

Apart from the fact that it’s offered for free, the UK-based retailer also runs a promotional deal on the Nokia Lumia 930, so those who pre-order it will also receive £100 (€125 / $170) cashback and a Nokia wireless charger worth £130 (€165 / $220).

Keep in mind though that Microsoft plans to offer the Nokia Lumia 930 bundled with wireless charger all over the UK, so regardless of where you get it, you should also receive the wireless charger for free.

It’s also worth mentioning that Carphone Warehouse only offers the Nokia Lumia 930 in Black, Green and Orange. The white version seems to be missing from the retailer’s portfolio, probably because it will be exclusively available through other authorized reseller.

Customers will be able to get the Nokia Lumia 930 for free on various plans from Vodafone or O2. Other carriers may offer the smartphone as well, so be sure to check for that later on.

Windows Phone fans who are still considering whether or not to pre-order the Nokia Lumia 930 should know that this is one of the most powerful smartphones announced by the Finnish company, and now released by Microsoft.

The smartphone also comes with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box, so there’s no need to endlessly wait for the update to arrive.

On the inside, the Lumia 930 is quite powerful thanks to the 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The only negative may be the fact that it lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion. However, the handset packs no less than 32GB of internal memory and Microsoft throws in another 7.5GB of free cloud storage into the mix.

On the back, Nokia Lumia 930 boasts an impressive 20-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, dual-LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while on the front, there’s a secondary 1.2-megapixel camera for video calls.

Last but not least, let’s not forget the vibrant 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
