Microsoft is expected to kick off the rollout of Windows Phone 8.1 within the next few days, but the update will not be available for everyone simultaneously. Depending on carrier and country, some Windows Phone users will get the highly anticipated update sooner or later than others.

Until then, however, there’s an easier way to get the final version of Windows Phone 8.1, though it comes for a price. Those who purchase the new Lumia 930 that is now making its worldwide debut in various countries will also get the latest version of Windows Phone.

Along with Lumia 630 and 635, Nokia Lumia 930 is the only smartphone to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box. Beginning today, Windows Phone enthusiasts in Malaysia can pre-order the Lumia 930 via major retailer Storekini, WPCentral reports.

Nokia Lumia 930 is available for pre-order in Malaysia for RM 1,999 outright, which is about $620 or €450. The smartphone is available in several color options, including Black, White, Orange and Green.

It’s also worth mentioning that the retailer offers customers who pre-order the Nokia Lumia 930 until July 6 a screen protector, a power bank and a casing for free.

Additionally, Storekini will offer the first 20 customers who purchase the phone RM50 ($15.5 / €11.5) instant rebate and a Boombotix Boombot speaker that’s worth RM99 ($30 / €23).

The next 30 customers who purchase the Lumia 930 via Storekini will get the same RM50 ($15.5 / €11.5) instant rebate, but not the free Boombotix Boombot, while the rest of customers who order the phone until July 6 will receive RM30 ($9.5 / €7) instant rebate.

According to the retailer, Nokia Lumia 930 should arrive in stock in the week after the pre-order ends and there shouldn’t be any delays, which means that the smartphone should hit shelves on July 7 or around that date.

Here are some highlights of the Lumia 930 for those who aren’t that familiar with the phone’s specs and consider buying one.

Aside from the fact that it comes packed with the latest version of Windows Phone, the Lumia 930 is equipped with a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Nokia Lumia 930 sports a hyper-vibrant 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

Keep in mind that the Lumia 930 comes with 32GB of internal memory, but it lacks microSD card slot for storage expansion, though you will get a lot of free cloud storage via OneDrive.
