Mobile phone users in the Netherlands interested in trying out Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.1 operating system on devices designed specifically for it can now buy the Nokia Lumia 930 smartphone in their country.

Earlier this week, Microsoft has officially announced that the phone will arrive on shelves in Europe, Asia and the Middle East before the end of this week, and it seems that the phone is already available on some markets out there.

Tweakers.net has assembled a list with the retailers that are making the Lumia 930 available for their customers, and it appears that many of them are already listing the mobile phone as in stock.

Microsoft has announced the Lumia 930 with an RRP of €499, yet it appears that retailers are already offering a series of discounts on it, as Nokiapoweruser notes.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Nokia Lumia 930 was made official in early April as Nokia’s flagship handset running under the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

However, you should keep in mind that it is not the first handset to arrive on the market with this platform iteration loaded on top.

That honor goes to Nokia Lumia 630, which was announced in early April too, as the cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 handset from the Nokia. It was accompanied on shelves by Nokia Lumia 635, its 4G LTE-enabled sibling.

Nokia Lumia 930, on the other hand, sports high-end hardware capabilities inside, though many will see a great resemblance between it and the Nokia Lumia Icon, that arrived at Verizon earlier this year.

In the Netherlands, Nokia Lumia 930 is available for purchase in Black, and those who will order it today could receive it as soon as tomorrow, it seems.

Nokia has announced the mobile phone in Green, Orange, and White as well, and users in the country should be able to purchase these color flavors in the not-too-distant future too.

Lumia 930 arrives on the market with a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution, as well as with a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor inside.

Moreover, it features 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, NFC, and wireless charging capabilities. The handset sports a 20-megapixel camera on the back, with OIS and full HD video recording.

As mentioned above, the flagship Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone is set to arrive in other countries in Europe and elsewhere soon, so keep an eye on this space for additional info on the matter.
