Good news for Windows Phone fans in Singapore, as Microsoft has just confirmed Nokia Lumia 930 will arrive in the country no later than July 12. The Windows Phone 8.1 handset will be available for purchase through Nokia Stores locations across the country, as well as through all major carriers.

Customers in Singapore who want to get their hands on the latest Nokia Lumia smartphone will have to come up with $790 SGD outright, which is about $630 or €465.

Microsoft has also announced it will offer some freebies to those who purchase the smartphone, which will be available in black, white, orange and green.

It looks like the first 50 buyers at the Funan & Causeway Point Nokia Stores will get a free $50 (€35) shopping voucher. Additionally, the prices for Wireless Charging Stand and Fatboy Wireless Charger have been slashed by 50% for those who purchase the Lumia 930 in Singapore.

The promotional deal is only available at participating stores, such as Nokia Store, GadgetWorld, 3Mobile and Handphoneshop.

Sadly, local telcos have yet to announce when they will offer the Nokia Lumia 930 and for how much. However, Microsoft Singapore confirmed that details on carriers’ promotions will be made public in the coming days.

Nokia Lumia 930 is already available in several European and Asian countries for prices between €400 ($545) and €530 ($720) off contract.

The phone’s hardware configuration justifies the higher price tag, so those having second thoughts on whether or not to purchase the Lumia 930 may want to know that the device is armed with a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes packed with no less than 32GB of internal memory, though it lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion. Moreover, the Lumia 930 supports wireless charging and LTE Cat4.

It also boasts an impressive 20-megapixel rear-facing photo snapper with PureView technology, Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, dual-LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. There’s also a secondary 1.2-megapixel camera on the front for video calls and selfies.

Microsoft’s Lumia 930 sports a more than decent 5-inch full HD (1080p) AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating, based on ClearBlack technology.

The phone is powered by a 2420 mAh battery, which should provide up to 430 hours of standby time or up to 11.5 hours of talk time. Keep in mind that the phone only supports nanoSIM cards.
