Microsoft's Windows Phone 8.1 handsets have recently been launched on the market, but the Lumia 930 is not yet available for purchase in too many countries.

However, this will soon change as Microsoft brings its most advanced smartphone powered by Windows Phone 8.1 platform to additional markets.

Speaking of which, one of the countries expected to receive the Lumia 930 is Australia. According to WPDownUnder, Windows Phone fans in Australia should expect to be able to grab the smartphone from July.

While there's no word on price tag yet, sources close to the matter mention that the smartphone will be offered by Vodafone Australia at the very least, but there's a high chance that Lumia 930 will be ranged by all major carriers in the country.

Even though we don't have any info on pricing options, typically, smartphones are available for free in Australia, but require customers to commit to a long-term contract of certain value.

The smaller the contract the higher the upfront payment may be or you may end up paying a lot more for the smartphone by the end of the long-term agreement.

Nokia Lumia 930 is likely to be priced aggressively if Microsoft wants to strengthen its presence on the Australian market. The unlocked version of the smartphone will surely be available through various authorized retailers as well, so potential customers will have lots of options.

Currently, the Lumia 930 is the most advanced smartphone that comes with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box, but Microsoft is rumored to launch new flagship smartphones this fall.

In fact, the Redmond company plans to launch several Windows Phone 8.1 handsets by the end of the year, but their availability will depend on carriers and region.

However, for the time being, Lumia 930 seems like a decent choice for Windows Phone fans. The smartphone is equipped with a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Keep in mind that Nokia Lumia 930 does not pack microSD card slot for memory expansion, but the smartphone features 32GB of internal memory by default.

Another strong point of the handset would be the hyper-vibrant 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

It's also worth noting that the Lumia 930 boasts an impressive 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual-LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization) and full HD (1080p) video recording.
