Ironically, the Chinese retailers are importing the Lumia 929 (Icon) directly from the United States, so if the phone goes on sale in the US, there might not be enough quantities in stock.
Nevertheless, we’re still not sure when the smartphone will go official, so these details have no meaning until Verizon confirms the release of the Lumia 929 (Icon).
Earlier this month, the Lumia 929 (Icon) website went live at Verizon, though the price was just a placeholder that should not be taken into consideration.
Even though the smartphone’s website was live only briefly, at least we had the confirmation that Verizon would indeed carry the Lumia 929 (Icon) at some point.
Today, the Lumia 929 (Icon) website is live again and features the same placeholder price. Still, we suspect that the smartphone will be available for purchase in Black and White for $200 (€145) on 2-year agreements.
There are only a few details available on the smartphone’s official webpage, but most of the Lumia 929’s specs have already been leaked online.

The smartphone also boasts a 5-inch full HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen display that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. Other highlights of the phone include: 20MP main camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, NFC (Near Field Communication) and 2420 mAh non-removable battery.
